Stories of friends and family
Cancer will not affect only the life of the patient, but also his/her family, friends and other people taking care of him/her. They could justifiably feel overwhelmed by the mass of information they need to know about the disease and treatment thereof. Everyday care of the patient, changes in lifestyle and natural concerns accompanying it uses to be very exhausting. The patient must focus on the treatment and the burden of numerous practical tasks remains with patient’s surroundings. Family members of the patient can face stress, twinges of conscience that they are not doing enough, loneliness, overload.
